    An educational visit for the students of History method of Semester-II of Kamala Devi Sohanraj Singhvi Jain college of Education was organized on 04.07.26 to Netaji House (Netaji Bhawan) in Elgin Road, Kolkata, under the guidance of mentor Mr. Subrata Majumdar as a part of the practicum for course 1.2.7 A.
    The museum displays Netaji’s personal belongings, rare photographs, letters, books, military uniforms, and documents related to the Indian National Army (INA). One of the most significant exhibits is the historic car used by Netaji during his daring escape from house arrest in 1941. The preserved rooms, library, and galleries vividly portray different phases of his life and his struggle for India’s independence.
    This visit enhanced the our students’ understanding of Netaji’s leadership, courage, and sacrifice. It provided valuable insights into the Indian freedom movement and highlighted the importance of preserving historical heritage. This educational visit was both informative and inspiring. It offered an enriching learning experience beyond the classroom and deepened the appreciation of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s invaluable contribution to India’s independence. It also inspired the students to uphold the values of patriotism, discipline, and selfless service to the nation.
