The IQAC of Kamala Devi Sohanraj Singhvi Jain College of Education organized one day visit to Belur Math on 18th November 2023, following NCTE guidelines, as a part of ‘Knowing Your Surroundings’ programme. First semester students of B.Ed and D.El.Ed departments and all faculties of both the departments of the college, took part
enthusiastically in the visit.
Two buses of the college started with students and faculties at 9.30 A.M. After reaching Belur Math, at first, all students visited the museum, and got themselves enriched with the knowledge of our rich cultural heritage. Afterwards, they visited the main Dhyan Mandir, Saradamani Temple, and Vivekananda Temple. Then, students and faculties entered into the book store, and collected some books regarding history of Belur Math.
After taking group photographs on the river bank, and having Prasad, All students and faculties came back to entrance gate, to board the college bus.
