On August 14th, 2026, the Semester 2 and Semester 4 students of Kamala Devi Sohanraj Singhvi Jain College of Education participated in a solemn remembrance event honoring the Partition of Bengal.
The program inaugurated with a song commemorating the tragedy and resilience of the historic division. Following the musical tribute, the Honorable Principal Dr. Sadhana Jha delivered an insightful speech highlighting the profound historical impact of partition on society and culture.
The highlight of the event was a poignant short theatrical performance directed by Prof. Chandrani Nandi. Through compelling performances, the play vividly brought to life the courage, unity, and legacy of the iconic 1905 Bengal Partition movement.
