Saraswati puja was held in Kamala Devi Sohanraj Singhvi Jain College of Education, on the occasion of Basant Panchami. The festival Basant Panchami shows the Indian culture and tradition. On the 2nd of February, 2025 the puja started around at 11:00 AM in the morning. Students decorated the hall and college surroundings with paper crafts, rangoli & alpana. All the students, Professors and non-teaching staffs along with principal came together to worship goddess Saraswati. Everyone present at the event stood up and started singing Saraswati Vandana. Students participated in the puja regardless of any religious beliefs. The next day after the arati and dadhikarma, immersion of the idol was done in the nearby Cossipore Ghat.
