The IBM Skills Build Pre-Service Teacher Internship based on AI technology for B.Ed., D.El.Ed., and M.Ed. students took place from 11th June to 30th June. Conducted via Zoom, the program offered online classes from Monday to Friday.
Participants tackled three crucial problem statements:
1. Improving parent-teacher communication
2. Integrating technology into traditional teaching methods, and
3. Enhancing educational outcomes through digital literacy and access to learning resources.
Out of 2000 nationwide participants, 15 finalists emerged, including our students Ifa Farhin, Ankit Das, Arpita Kayal, and Aritraa Khastagir of 1st semester, B.Ed. The pitch night, held on 30th June from 11 am to 2:30 pm, showcased their presentations before three esteemed IBM CSRBOX judges. Ifa Farhin won in the first category, while Arpita Kayal and Aritraa Khastagir triumphed in the third category. Participants will receive certificates for completing the internship, as well as for their achievements. Additionally, they were awarded two prestigious certificates: CSRBOX Educator Learning Plan and AI Foundation, a collaboration between ISTE and IBM.
